19th November

Oops, just realised we did not post a blog for last week.

So all the pictures are now up from the balloon day we had in Birmingham the other week, it was a small group but was a fun day, well I enjoyed it so fingers crossed everyone else did. We did get a few comments and posts on Facebook about it so
I think it was successful. Pictures from the day can be seen here, Birmingham Balloon Day.

The next balloon day is in Sutton on Wed 5th Dec and will be running from 10 till 5pm. We have a basic session from 10 till 11am for those who need a little help in the morning and then we have Rob Driscoll and Danielle Burnige running workshops for us later on in the day along with myself running a later workshop in the afternoon. So a full jam packed balloon day and completely free to attend. Hope to see a few of you there, booking details, Sutton Balloon Day.

I have also been updating my portfolio thread page on Balloon Chat if you’d like to take a look, we are onto 62 pages to view now and thousands of pictures. You might want to get a coffee before you sit down to view, Portfolio Pictures.

We have done a couple of balloon gigs lately, the one yesterday was for a 40th celebration and they found me from an event I was at in Reigate and tracked me down via my daughter and a friend on Facebook. It’s amazing how you can find people nowadays and was a nice relaxed event and I think more adults went home with balloons than children.

It’s coming up for December and I have to say I do have a few parties booked in but it’s not liked it used to be and fully booked, I think I have more days un-booked than booked unfortunately so fingers crossed a few late parties will come in over the coming few weeks.

That’s me then for this week, now what will the random balloon picture of the week be. I went with a design we made back in September 2019 when Danielle and I were looking into having some happy/crying baby faces made. Unfortunately we never got around to making them… perhaps we should look into making this happen?
