Hi Everyone, it’s been a little stressful this week with trying to get the new forum up and off the ground. It was difficult trying to put my thoughts down so my web people could make the forum work as I saw it in my head. We have had to make some variations and go to plan B and C, will it be up and working tomorrow…………… I was confident in the week but as the days have gone on then no.
I think it will be up but just a bare minimum and no artwork or pages looking completed unfortunately, that is a shame as this has been in the planning stages for quite a while, anyway keep smiling and hopefully it will all come together slowly. If anyone would like to sign up and be on board from day one then this is the link, please be aware the £26.40 fee is for the rest of 2022 and is for five months and not a monthly fee as a couple had thought and mentioned to me. I went to watch the local football team play yesterday, Sutton Utd and on the way stopped for a Tropical Mango Frappe which cost me £4.05, it did cross my mind when paying that for this you could join the forum for a whole month and what value for money it was, he he. I have a few designs I’d like to film, Sonic, Parrot, line work Parrot and a variation on a Flower design that is this months Model of the Month. One is so it’s for the new forum to build up the content and the other is so we can remember the design a few months or years down the line. Some of my older designs I look at and think now how on earth did I make that. So by filming them it will add content to the forum and help my memory when I look back and wonder.
That reminded me I have not put up the step by step tutorial for the Flower for August, better go and do that straight after writing this blog. Details will be on Balloon Chat here later on today, Model of the Month, Flower.
I’d better get on as have a busy day and now need to put the instructions up for the Flower that had slipped my mind. Lets go find a random balloon picture. I went with the more detailed Parrot as over the years I have always stepped back from making them for some reason, even when out gigging if anyone asked I would always say sorry it’s not a design I make. Not quite sure why but now I have a nice detailed Parrot that I like and also a more line work one as well. I have been posting them here on Balloon Chat but still need to add a few more over the coming week so perhaps have another look back next weekend to see all the variations and designs. Especially as from the Parrot I have a fabulous two balloon Bird that I absolutely really like,
it will be posted soon and I will film it for the new forum Parrot.
