I’m back from the Blackpool magic convention and then this Thursday I’m off again back up to Blackpool for the Balloon Convention. Had fun at the magic convention with Rob Driscoll helping me on the stand this year. We went for a slightly easier build this year with the logo, BMC 2024. I have started to post the pictures as we built it up onto Balloon Chat and they should all be up by the end of the week. I enjoyed the gala shows as that generally is all we see over the weekend as we are both working away on the stand. Blackpool Magic Pictures.
We did have an idea for a different looking number design for Two while at Blackpool making the large design for the stand, it is posted here and I do have tutorials for all the numbers if anyone would like to purchase. There is a special offer on the full set at the moment so saving £75, it has all the numbers and 4 or 5 variations on each and every number. I think it is pretty detailed and covers all you would need to know about weaving the numbers and hiding all the joints with no pinch twists visible.

We have the February Zoom on Tuesday and the theme is going to be Flowers, I will send out the meeting ID and password on Monday for those attending. If you would like to join the club we will have 12 live zoom’s to watch over the year, these are recorded in case you are unable to make them and watch live. Plus there will be another 18 tutorials posted over the year.

I have got my designs ready for the balloon convention, my five minute piece is going to be Olaf and then the thirty minute piece will be Winnie The Pooh standing on the bridge playing Pooh sticks, that is if I don’t run out of time, we will find out next week as I’ve not timed either of them and will just wait and see what will be.
Trying to work out what the model of the month will be for March, at the moment I’m leaning towards a Barbie Car but just off to take a look at some of the other designs we have been making over the past few months to see if we can see anything else that might take my fancy.
