23rd July

I was working at Ascot racecourse yesterday for a private event. They had set up so much entertainment with magician, two face painters and myself ballooning. There was also 12/15 small fairground games and castles etc. Then an hour before it all started the heavens opened and it rained so much in the afternoon. I was inside on a concourse, so was a little drafty but we were dry. Got asked for a Sheep which is not one of my usual designs, what I made on the spot was OK but I came home and tried some variations on a theme. Will post them later onto Balloon Chat. Tonight I’m doing a Zoom balloon workshop for the Magic Circle, not sure many will be twisting along with me but hopefully a few. It was booked rather last minute but later on we will see how it goes.

We have a special offer on the Number tutorials plus if you join the Balloon Artistes Guild for 2022 and 2023 you can pick a free tutorial as well. The offer goes till the end of July. Details can be found here, Balloon Tutorials.

Right off to find the random balloon picture of the week, I went with a selection of the weaved numbers. There are a few variations of each number, at least four and some with even more. It is a very detailed look at making them and the full
numbers set is over ten hours long. You can purchase the numbers singularly as well.
