When driving back on Thursday morning from the Patrick Van de Ven two day star lecture for “The Worldwide Association of Twisters” I could not but help have a big grin all over my face… WOW!
We have run some great events over the years but this one felt a little different… now why?
Perhaps because we had not had a big event like this for a while, possibly or it might have been Patrick just delivered on all fronts and is just a lovely fella. A side note, my two workshops also went well and I did think I might have been a little nervous with running them but nope, just stand up, get the mic and off we go. An added bonus, everyone seemed to like the special merchandise I had purchased so everyone could remember the event in years to come. Thanks to all who attended and to Patrick and family for being a dream wo work with, just so easy and also to all those who attended, the day was a sell out with 35 people coming along. Here is to next year when we will do it all again, those attending decided that they like the mystery lecturer idea and would like that again for next year. Plus had the choice of keeping the price lower or adding £10 so that I would supply the rounds, 160 and 360 balloons. The vote was to keep the price low, so that is what we will do. It’s £90 next year for the early bird special when no one knows who the instructor will be and then from the 1st January when we announce it the cost will be £135. We are hoping to be sold out ASAP next year with all tickets going for the £90. So please be quick when we make the announcement, will be the 1st August for those who attended this year, then if any tickets are left then they will go on sale from the 15th August.
