We are off to London on Wednesday for a long over due London Balloon Jam, other dates before had been booked but then those who booked it were unable to make. So the dates kept getting changed and re arranged. This Wednesday was also cancelled but a few of us got together and confirmed a few could make it so we booked it up at the Pizza Express near Liverpool Street station. Plus we also booked the Van Gough Experience in London before it as well so that should make a good day of it as we are all heading up into London.
The first basic balloon workshop actually went a lot better than I was anticipating and I really enjoyed it, well I must have done as we have booked another date for 1st November, it is free and all are most welcome. If you’d like to join us then please just send me a PM on Facebook with your email address and I will send over the Zoom meeting details the day before. We had over 50 sign up last time but only 12 logged in, so that was a little dis-appointing but the 12 was manageable so possibly for the best.
There are two live in person balloon days coming up, Birmingham 8th Nov and then Sutton 5th Dec, both are just £10 to attend and you do get a voucher to spend at the day for £10, so really a free day. Amanda Smith and myself will be running the workshops in Birmingham and then for Sutton we have Rob Driscoll, Danielle Burnige and myself. Please book ASAP, it would be appreciated so we can plan the days accordingly, Booking Details.
If you are unable to make the day perhaps you could tell a friend or two or even post details on a balloon page or two. Would be great to keep everything BEL (Balloon Education Live)
That’s me for this week, the next club Zoom will be on Monday 23rd October where I will be explaining the Mickey Mouse design we have been working on over the past few weeks. I actually upscaled it yesterday using 350’s and will post it later here to view, Mickey Mouse.
The random balloon picture of the week, I went with a selection of Halloween designs from over on Balloon Chat, there are quite a few threads to view there if you look via the search button.
