Blog time again, this week back Tuesday night from the Kidology children’s magic convention. This was possibly the best one yet that Alec has put on, five great workshops and an excellent Monday night show given by the five people lecturing. I thought it was excellent, I have posted all the pictures up already from those that I took if you’d like to take a look, Kidology Pictures.
I was up in London again gigging yesterday, goodness it was a very large party for I believe a 6 year old birthday, four bouncy castles with different themes, Rodeo Bull, Helter Skelter, Bungee Trampoline, Dodgems, Tea Cup Ride, Face Painter, Hair Brading and myself ballooning. Plus a food stall, coffee stall and donut machine. It was a fun afternoon and I enjoyed myself, was always busy but as so many other things to do not rushed off my feet with long queues. It was an eight hour day with five hours travelling and only three ballooning.
We have the September Zoom this coming Wednesday, 27th September for the Balloon Artistes Guild members. Still not sure what we will be showing but I’m sure something will spring to mind very last minute, well I’m hoping it does…. he he.
Off to the Face conference on Sunday 8th Oct in Rochester, Kent, it is a weekend event but on the Saturday they have competitions all day so I’m just attending on the Sunday. They do have spaces available if you’d like to go along
for a day or even for the full weekend. Face Convention.
I did a balloon design last week that we had to post out, that is always a worry with the courier and how it will end up looking when arrived. All was OK although we did have to make the design a lot smaller only because it had to fit into a certain size
box that I had for shipping. I posted a few pictures from the design if you’d like to take a look, Love Heart.
