Hi Everyone, we have been in undated with people kindly sending us pictures of the large balloon dog we made the other week at the Blackpool Magic Convention. We are putting them into a little video project and also hoping to make a collage of the pictures into the balloon dog. David and I can make the video OK, it’s the collage we are unsure about and now I’m getting ready for the Blackpool Balloon Convention that is on next weekend. All the pictures are now posted for the magic convention if anyone would like to take a look, Blackpool Magic Convention.
We have booked the next balloon day, it’s in Birmingham on Tuesday 25th April with a couple of mini workshops, time to help with designs you may have and also there will be a fun competition and time for jamming and helpful advise from everyone. I have been trying to book some other venues but finding a hall that is free for a full day is sometimes a challenge. I’m back to looking at working men’s club’s. Bishops Stortford is pencilled in for 6th June and then we are hoping to get to Bristol, Leeds and possibly up to Scotland this year as well.
We have just posted the Crown design onto the balloon artistes guild website for the club members, if you would like to join it’s just a pound a week plus VAT and we do also have 12 live zooms as well during the year that are recorded and posted onto the website. I was doing a little filming yesterday as Qualatex are giving away some complimentary balloons at the convention next weekend, these will be so you can make a couple of designs. The Dog we made for this months Model of the Month and also the balloons to make last months Model of the Month as well… the Blue fish, it’s not Dory but just a fish that is Blue. We will be posting the link when we get back from the convention next week for the video tutorial.
