We had the very first live balloon get together for 2023, with 22 people through the door and I think, well hopefully everyone had a great time and learnt a model or two. I was a little apprehensive as the plan was to go back to what the original “Care & Share” days used to be like. With myself showing a design or idea and then seeing what others were hoping to get and learn from the days and get little groups forming and people sharing tips and ideas etc.
I was more than pleased with how it went and so looking forward to the next ones, hoping to book, Bristol, Bishops Stortford and Preston. Trying to get to places we have either never been to or not been there for quite a time. Any suggestions or feedback from the days is most welcome. I have started to post the pictures from the day here, Sutton Balloon Day.
I’m off to the Spring Fair today at the NEC in Birmingham, it’s been a few years since I’ve attended so will
be nice to see what’s on offer and how things have changed.
The latest tutorial went up on The Balloon Artistes Guild website for the 8 petal flower on a stand.
I’ve always liked the simplicity of the design.
To view the designs available from last year, BAG Tutorials 2022. Then the tutorials for this year, BAG Tutorials 2023.
And if you would like to join then its only a pound a week plus VAT, The Balloon Artistes Guild.
Off to find the random balloon picture of the week, I went with the Monkey design from I think January last year.
The reason being I have to make a few next week for an event as a photo back drop with a Tree or two as well.
