26th March

So this week I had a really nice job lined up in Oxford for a large London agent and unfortunately it all got cancelled last minute due to the family coming down with covid. Fingers crossed it all gets booked in again in the coming weeks. I was looking forward to a couple of hours balloon modelling. So we are off to France tomorrow to meet up with some friends to do a little sight seeing but also to twist a few balloons, that will be nice. Don’t worry if you are placing orders on the website as Lyn is still here sorting them out for everyone.

I have been making a few balloon designs this week, had a commission for a Fruit Bowl which we made possibly 3 years ago,
this was for a 60th birthday, I have posted the pictures as we built the design, Fruit Bowl.

I also made a flower design that is a little different to what I have seen so hopefully its a little variation on a theme,
again the thread is on Balloon Chat, Flower.

I’m still posting the pictures from the Blackpool Balloon Convention (BBB) we have 175 pictures posted at the moment and still with plenty more to post over the coming weeks, Blackpool Balloon Pictures.

We have also booked up three balloon days for the coming months, one I need to change the date as I forgot to leave a travel day between two events. I know, I have no clue how I managed that but these things happen. The two confirmed dates are 25th April in Birmingham and the 6th June in Bishops Stortford, booking details and early bird specials are available here, Balloon Days.

We also have the April Zoom all booked for the 26th April, I will be explaining the new Sunflower design I came up with last week. It’s free for club members or for non members there is a small fee, Sunflower Zoom.

That’s me for this week, off to see what the random balloon picture of the week will be. I went with the giant 350 Dinosaur that I forgot to mention was another design we made this week as well.
