This week we have been booking the first two day star lecture for The Balloon Artistes Guild for 2017. It will be in Birmingham on 6/7th March with Darren Mortiboy coming over from Ireland to run the workshops on the 6th March and Twistina running the day on the 7th March. Booking details.
I worked with Lord G on Friday up in Canary Wharf, it was nice travelling up and having a coffee before and after but while working we saw nothing of each other as we both worked opposite ends of the event. It was a nice event with plenty going on for the children and as there were two balloon artistes and two face painters we were not to rushed off our feet.
A nice way to finish the Christmas events.
I took Harry my grandson out today for a meal and then to the pictures. We went to a nice American burger bar in Cheam and it’s a nice boost to the ego when the waiter mentions “your Dad will remember that” as he walked off the look on Harry’s face as he said……………. did he just call you my dad.
I was rather chuffed though. We went to see Moana, I have to say it was excellent, well brilliant and even Harry said what a great film it was and he is 13.
Next months competition over on balloon chat will be a three balloon bunny rabbit, with five balloons if you would like to add a carrot to the design. I will add the step by step instructions to the forum after Christmas, Rabbit Design. We have two more one balloon designs to add to BalloonTube and then it’s over to the mutli balloon designs. The first one will be my favourite two balloon flower, this week we have the very popular one balloon bunny Rabbit. BalloonTube.
