Happy St Georges day everyone xx
I have been doing some filming for the tutorial website, yesterday we filmed the Rose, Digger, Train, Lazer Launcher, Firing Gun and the Rabbit. All went pretty OK except for the Train, we did a few takes and I was going to add bits in but then thought no… lets just film it all again and we did and that take went in one and was OK. Funny how things go sometimes. If anyone would like to join “The Balloon Artistes Guild” it’s just a pound a week and we promise to post a minimum of 18 tutorials during the year,
2 of my DVD’s with 25 designs and then we also have a Zoom a month that we record and post onto the website.
Any questions then please ask away or to have a look at the website, The Balloon Artistes Guild.
If you would like to join then there are two options, the full year or two 6 month payments to help spread the cost a little.
Join The Balloon Artistes Guild.
We do have a Zoom this coming Wednesday evening at 8pm UK time with the Sunflower if anyone would like to join us,
its free for club members or just £5 for non members. Sunflower Zoom.
Unfortunately for the first time in 18 years we have had to postpone the balloon day for next week in Birmingham, due to numbers attending. Since Covid we have found it more difficult to get people attending the days but this does seem to be across the board and not just to the balloon days. There are so many other options now and people can get online training which is good but not the same as being in the room with others and all the other helpful little tips and tricks people pass on. The next balloon day is booked for Bishops Stortford on the 6th June, booking details are here, Bishops Stortford 6th June.
It’s that dreaded time where I have to sell my lovely Fiat Doblo due to the ULEZ zone being brought out to where we live and I have an older diesel car. I have been looking for a new second hand car and find it so so stressful. I have test driven a couple and off again this week to have a look at another couple. I know nothing about cars so am always on the super cautious side of things. If anyone does want a really nice looked after Fiat Doblo then I’m pretty sure I know where there is one to view….. he he
Off to look for a random balloon picture of the week, it wont be a picture of my car, I promise, chuckle, chuckle.
I went with the Sunflower which made me smile as its raining heavily here at the moment.
