Today is a special day for me as It’s a special friend’s birthday, Pearse Halpenny, stage name Michael Pearse or as some know him that old juggler.
Possibly the UK’s number one comedy juggler and a lovely guy, we have holidayed together, rehearsed together and even been on the same bill together.
As I said a special friend……………………so happy birthday Grandad, he he.
I was at the Leamington day of magic this week and I’m always amazed at what a great value for money day it is, for £25 you get the evening before show, four lectures and the close up show from 6 of the midlands close up champions, all that plus a cooked breakfast, buffet lunch and a BBQ in the evening, amazing. I do think they could advertise it a little better though as I did not see it anywhere on facebook and one should always push days and get everyone to share and spread the word to keep the numbers up. Thanks to Sandra, she makes possibly the best bread and butter pudding going.
