Off in a while to Fulham ladies football match, a first for me, have done the men’s football a few times but the ladies play elsewhere. The good news, there is parking and it’s only about a 15 minute drive from where I live.
If anyone saw my post about us just moving in and getting the garage all sorted with stock and then the gas board knocking to say they are re doing the gas main in the road and into everyone’s house and they need access, oh gawd, you could not make it up. Well it’s all been done, road dug up, our drive dug up and new meter and pipes installed, we did have no gas for two days so it did get a little chilly but we survived. They just have to fill the drive way hole up and refit, I will have a chat first as the new pipe is six inches away from the wall at the moment and we are not sure the garage door will miss it and open. Hopefully they can push it back a couple of inches before re laying the driveway… fingers crossed.
We have to organise the Facebook tutorial page for 2025, what with the move and the gas situation plus we are now getting things sorted for Blackpool, the magic convention and the Balloon convention that both happen in February. So we had better get thinking to what the plan is for 2025, I do have quite a few tutorials I’d like to film but this I think will have to wait till March time when back from the conventions and hopefully the house is a little straighter from our move. I do have some tutorials already filmed and ready to go so can start updating the page once we have decided what to do. I think I’m more inclined to delete everyone from the page and ask for another donation to stay on the page, this way all the tutorials will be in one place and hopefully easier to view for everyone… but watch this space as not fully decided as yet.
Off to find the random balloon picture of the week, I think I will go with the Brickwork back drop design as I was trying to find somewhere easy to take my pictures although I do prefer the cleaner look of a White background. So it’s still a work in progress.
