23rd February

I was coming on here to say sorry there was not a blog last week as we were away at the Blackpool Magic convention and also there would be no blog next week as again we are away at the British Balloon Convention, again in Blackpool. Just looked and it says the last blog I wrote was on the 19th January. Now that might be the case, worried look on my face OR it might be the site had to be re-booted as we have had all the spam messages we delete over the year pop back up and I have had to delete them again? Off to chat with web technical guys after we have written the post.

So Blackpool magic convention last weekend with David was a lot of fun and really enjoyable, the last gala show on the Sunday night with Rick Thomas was just pure theatre and wonderful. With two flying illusions in the full evening show, was lovely to see. David and I made the Shark’s and Cage for the photo shoot, pictures are here on Balloon Chat if you would like to view them, Shark and Cage.

We have a special offer on the website at the moment, 160/260’s are just £4.99 a bag with the majority of 5″ rounds at the same price. Then the 5″ printed rounds are all down to just £9.99 till we sell out as Qualatex have ceased trading. We have a good selection of Sempertex and Kalisan balloons available and a small selection of the Gemar if anyone would like to try any of the different brands to see how you get on with them. Balloon Art Wholesale.

The Facebook tutorial page “A Balloon Club” we are starting again from March, all those that were members for 2024 you have another week to check out the tutorials. If you would like to join the site, if you were a member for 2024 then we are doing the special at just a £10 donation to re-join for 2025. For those joining for the first time the donation is either £20/30 depending how generous you would like to be… There are over 60 designs to view at the moment with over 15 exclusive designs just available on the tutorial page to view. We also do a monthly Zoom which I appreciate is difficult for some to join depending where in the world everyone lives with all the time differences. Any questions then please ask away or to sign up, A Balloon Club.

That’s me for this week, see you in a fortnight with news from the balloon convention, there are a handful
of spaces available if anyone would like to attend last minute, Balloon Convention.
Off to find the random balloon pictures of the week, I expect it will be the Roses as that is the model of the month for March.
