I was working at a new cinema complex in Redhill yesterday, it was their big opening weekend. Called “The Light” it has about a dozen venues all over the UK with games rooms, climbing wall, crazy golf, bowling etc etc and plenty of other games to get involved with as well. It was a really nice day spent twisting some nicer designs with a constant flow of people but very manageable. I really enjoyed it and the manager found me as I was leaving to thank me….that was nice.

I have an online interview this week for “Spread a Smile” its an organisation that go into hospitals entertaining the children,
being online will be a little odd but we will see how it goes.

We have four more days to plan for this year, possibly a basic day, two care & share days and then a workshop day as well, we will be organising all four and advertising them ASAP so we can get the word out, so watch this space or my Facebook page for full details. The South West Ballooniversity have a workshop coming up on Tuesday 6th September in Newport with Bob Wooding, Bob used to tour all the Butlin’s centres in the 80’s and 90’s with his balloon act and then with his balloon game show “First to Burst”. He was very busy and had possibly the best balloon act we have seen for a while. I do find the hot weather a challenge and looking forward to the rain and thunderstorm they say is coming later today as it’s so hot and muggy at the moment. Right off to look for a random balloon picture of the week, I went with the Flounder that I was asked about at the balloon day last week and was not sure what it was.
