Thanks to those who came along to the last Care & Share day for 2024, it was a small get together with nine people booked in.

This week I’ve been doing a little rendering, we blocked up an old toilet window that was converted to an airing cupboard many years ago and the window was left in but covered from the inside. We had to take it out a while back as the new boiler went into this cupboard. So I spent a couple of hours patching it up and painting it, it does not look too bad. As long as I have two straight walls either side I get a piece of wood and shimmy it up and down the wall after I’ve plastered or rendered the walls. I’m also re-laying the loft floor after leveling it all up, then it will be time to lay the LVT flooring which is the thinner wood floor effect.
I’ve been sorting out a few Christmas designs ready for the silly season although at the moment my season is not too silly. Hoping to get a few late bookings in but then perhaps everyone else is as well?
