Well it’s been a super busy week for balloon modelling, after building plane number two with David Crofts at the Bluewater shopping centre, Plane Pictures.
We then drove down to Hastings Sunday lunchtime to help set the school hall up for the Big Battle Balloon Build. The balloon project was master minded by Olivia Post to celebrate the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
Twenty balloon artistes got together to build a Castle, King Harold, William the Conqueror, the Bayeux Tapestry, the Doomsday Book and a Norman two poster bed. It was a very enjoyable long three days but great fun building the design in the limited amount of time we had. I have started to put the pictures up over on the balloon chat forum, I think it will be a few weeks till they are all up as I took so many. Big Battle Balloon Build.
