Off to Paris this week for the ESM (English Speaking Mum’s) for a charity fund raising gig. I think this could be the 7/8th time of going over. slightly different as we are also having a balloon jam this coming Thursday 15th October with the main fund raising event taking place on Sunday 18th October. Because I’m away there will be no Blog next week, so this week we have been catching up with everything and sorting page sizes for the books we are hoping to put together of the tutorials we have posted over the years.
I did see a large Teddy on the internet this week and thought we would have a go at making this with the latex, I posted it onto Balloon Chat under a Teddy Bear thread already if you’d like to take a look, Teddy Bear.
We are back from Paris next Monday and then I’m having a change about in Balloon Towers, it’s only ever been half decorated so we will be finishing this all up and sorting a new office desk, the temporary one we have at the moment is a little to big and blocks the access to the loft area… so that will keep me busy for a few weeks, I’m not exactly speedy when we have to do a bit of the old DIY.
Going to sort the October Zoom out and think it will be the new Bat design and also the Grim Reaper we have been making for a few years now, especially as it is Halloween, so will be topical for me.
Hope everyone has a few Halloween gigs, I’m back in Twickenham for the street party they have been running. I’ve been attending for quite a few years now and is always fun. Fingers crossed we are lucky with the weather, last few years it’s not been great and one year we did get rained off with everyone running for cover under the gazebo they provide for us. Goodness that was a wet event.
That’s me for this week, all the pictures from the Doctor Bob that that we attended the other week are online to view,
Doctor Bob Day.
Off to look for the Random Balloon picture of the week,
I think we will go with the Bat and Grim Reaper that we will be explaining on Zoom later in the month.
