12th April

It’s blog time, did you miss me as I was away last week to there was no blog?
It was that time of year again when we head over to Paris to help the ESM (English Speaking Mum’s) at the Easter event to raise funds for a charity or two. I always enjoy myself and the day this year was just as fun with a few magical memories to remember. like the young lad who came dressed as a night, he looked very smart so I offered to make him a sword and a shield which he seemed really pleased about. The sword was in Gold Chrome so looked the business… as they say, he he and then while making the Shield in the St George’s flag look in Red and White, which I did mention might not go down so well while making it in France, he he.

Anyway, he stood up straight, puffed his chest out and off he walked… we were still watching and smiling when he was 20 metres away, that was a nice moment for me with a few others as well during the day. I enjoyed it so hopefully everyone else did as well. I have posted a few pictures from the trip here, Paris ESM.

Just posted the next design over on my tutorial page, “A Balloon Club” It’s the Labubu which a while back I did not know what it was. But when you go to a party or two and people keep mentioning them you have to check them out. If you’d like to join its £18 for the full year… not monthly, so I think a bargain. We also do a live Zoom every month as well if you’d like to join, details are here, “A Balloon Club 2026”

It’s coming up for Trix magic convention in a few weeks plus the Sunday before Miraiker is organising A Punch Up which is a day celebrating Punch and Judy. Details of both below.
Trix.    Punch Up.

That’s me for this week, off to find the random balloon of the week. I went with the Axolotl that we made a few weeks back and ran the Zoom for March with the tutorial.
