Had to stop a gig this Friday just gone, we were outside at a Halloween event and they always sort a gazebo for us and electrics so I can take me lighting with us. Well the weather… goodness it was torrential rain, coming down in buckets and we just had to stop. Water was coming through the gazebo and the street had a shallow river running down it. We were booked from 4 till 8 pm and we called it a day at about 7.15 pm so did the majority of the gig but then driving home was also a challenge seeing where we were going, all under passes were flooded and the water was coming up through the drains. Can’t remember last time we had a downpour like that, we did get a bit soaked but got home in one piece. So that was my exciting Halloween gig.
We got the pathway to the warehouse sorted and it’s all been painted now with two coats and the front has three coats so all ready for the winter and the electrics, well that is an added bonus, so we can see what we are doing now the clocks changed.
We have started to stock the Kalisan 160 and 360 modelling balloons along with the 260’s that we have stocked for quite a while now, we even have the colour Hazelnut now in stock which is a good alternative skin colour and this is available in all three sizes. Model of the month over on Balloon Chat for November is up, I’m just off after writing the blog to put up the step by step tutorial. This month we went for the Cartoon Shark, which I think will be a hit and useful to a few… fingers crossed. Cartoon Shark.
