14th September

Had a busy week this week, travelled up to Wigan Thursday for a Face Painting event on the Friday, travelling was a bit of a disaster. On the M25 a car was on fire so got held up for an hour and then traffic around Birmingham was pretty gridlocked so what should have taken about five hours went into over seven. After things like this I always think we got there safe and sound which is the most important thing and hopefully the burnt out car was just that and replaceable.

Was nice meeting some new faces and chatting latex, fingers crossed we have given some that little spark to start balloon modelling, I have started to post a few pictures that I took from the day onto Balloon Chat, Wigan Face Paint Day.
Then yesterday we were back at Fulham entertaining before kick-off, always a fab and fun gig and people up off a laugh. Off to Bristol on Wednesday for the South West Ballooniversity workshop day with Kimberley Hill. Looking forward to this as anything latex related I’m into. There are tickets available if anyone would like to come along. I did see the local hotel dropped it’s room prices as well so you might still be able to get a bargain.

We still have a lot of the Qualatex balloons at 50% off on the website and with Chrome rounds and Chrome 260’s also reduced there are some bargains to be had, Balloon Art Wholesale.

That’s me for this week, off to find the random balloon picture of the week. I’m going with the Crown we made three years ago when the Queen died, it’s still one of my favourite designs that I have made and amazing that three years have already passed.
