Today is the first Sunday of the month so it’s BalloonTube Sunday, this month the tutorial is a Whale. It was a brand new design I came up with in December as I felt there was not a great choice or selection when it came to whale tutorials on the old world wide web. So I added to it with the design, hope you like it. BalloonTube, Whale.
We are off to the Kent face painting Jam on Tuesday if anyone would like to pop along. I will have the shop with me and happy to twist a few balloons with anyone that would like to join in. More details are on the Facebook page, Kent Face Paint Jam.
The rest of the blog I’m taking up with a reply I posted onto Facebook on the subject where someone asked about the best place to buy cheap 260 modelling balloons. This was my reply,
Blowing My Own Trumpet Alert
There was a post on Facebook asking for the cheapest place to buy 260 modelling balloons. They do appear every few weeks and it always seems like a popularity contest to me which I’m very un comfortable about.
So from my point of view as I do sell 260 modelling balloons as well as many other balloon accessories. Its not always about the cheapest place to buy from, but getting to know your balloon supplier. Building up a rapport and trust with them and what else they have to offer. Speedy delivery service, good courier, stock rotation etc. We supply the full range for the twister market in 160, 260, 350 and 646. Which calls for larger premises and more stock commitment. We also have a good selection of rounds, printed balloons, quick links and Q-Paks as well.
I like to think I have a pretty good knowledge of the balloon industry, can point you in the right direction if you are looking for a certain model or design. I also run the balloon forum, Balloon Chat which is an A to Z encyclopaedia on balloon modelling with nearly 100 step by step instructions to view. I post hundreds of pictures from all the balloon conventions I attend. Balloon Chat.
I also have BalloonTube with 60 tutorials up at present over on YouTube. BalloonTube.
There is also “The Balloon Artistes Guild” where we run 10 balloon days all over the UK with star lecture days with master classes available at amazingly affordable prices where we hope the balloon community will grow which will in turn make you grow and the industry grow. So sometimes we need to look at the bigger picture and see what people offer, as entertainers are we looking for Joe Public to book the cheapest? I think not, thanks for reading and any questions then please ask away. Oh and if you’d like to take a look at the website,
Balloon Art Wholesale.
Thanks.
That’s me done for this week then, off to find a random balloon
picture of the week. I went with a design that I only came up
with and made today. So fresh of the press as they say.
