Hi everyone, the big news for this week is we have decided the next two “Care & Share” balloon days that are booked in for Birmingham on the 19th May and Sutton on the 2nd July will be the last ones we run as they have been held for the past 21 years. With so many other balloon events happening regularly now and all the conventions, balloon days, workshops etc etc. The numbers have been dropping, then for the past three years we have had no sponsorship and I’ve been paying for the venues/hotel and travel etc.
I love running the days but sometimes you have to step back, now with what we have planned I don’t think we are stepping back, but just moving sideways. Things are moving along and we hope to announce the next generation of the “Care & Share” balloon days at the event in Birmingham in May, fingers crossed.
