This week we have been to Bicester to run a balloon workshop for the David Lloyd leisure facility. They are training up staff to run the party experiences that they offer with face painting and balloon modelling. We have done quite a few of these over the past couple of years with a few more booked in as well. It was an enjoyable day with everyone very keen on having a go and learning
a new skill.
Last month’s Zoom we did is now online for club members, if anyone would like to join then details can be found here,
The Balloon Artistes Guild.
We have also put up over on Balloon Chat the model of the month for June which is the Digger design, ideal for line work.
We have the Bishops Stortford balloon day coming up this week on the 6th June, unfortunately if you have not booked its too
late as we have 22 attending the day and that is maximum for the size of the venue. Will be announcing some more days
soon so please keep an eye out on the website, Balloon Days.
I’m off to pick me new car up this week and also saying goodbye to me beloved Fiat Doblo, it has been a little stressful getting everything sorted and and changed over but nearly there now. I purchased a VW Touran so here is to many happy miles of motoring… fingers crossed.
That’s me for this week, off to find the random balloon picture of the week. I went with the Mermaid design, there are some variations to view over on Balloon Chat over a couple of pages if you’d like to take a look, Mermaid.
