Thanks to all who came to the 20th Anniversary balloon day in Birmingham on Tuesday, much appreciated. I thought it was a fabulous day with designs to learn but fun and laughter along the way, which I always feel is the way to go with balloon education, making it more of an experience. We had 22 people attend but had five people pay that did not show up on the day.
I always feel a little upset about this so will message those and see if they would like to attend the next balloon day we are running. This will be in Worksop on Tuesday 12th November, we do need a minimum of 10 people attending for the day to go ahead due to the days not having any sponsorship now unfortunately. We have three star lectures and the day will have all new designs from our previous two days we have held this year. If you could share and help promote the day it would be appreciated as we are trying to keep balloon education live and not only available online. Details about the day can be found here, Anniversary Tour, Worksop.
I have been posting the pictures from the Birmingham day here if you’d like to take a look, still a few more to post over the coming days so please look back again, Birmingham Day.
That’s me for this week, off to find the random balloon picture of the week, It’s not random as writing the previous comment I thought I know I will post the picture from Birmingham of David and I. A little back story, for many a year I have been doing the model of the month over on Balloon Chat, David has everyone and has kept them in his brief case. For the first time be brought the said brief case to Birmingham so I could see… what can one say I was very touched , goodness all those tutorials, very happy memories and a moment I will remember for ever… Thanks David XXxx
