26th June

The blog is a day late, oops. Been a really busy three days though twisting for 6 hours, 13 hours and 12 hours. Although a lot of work it was all just about under control. Sometimes it’s not! We made another Star Wars theme big build, pictures are going up on the forum but the final pictures will be added nearer the end of the week. Star Wars Pictures.

We have “The David Grist Memorial Lecture” next week in Halesowen on the 5/6th July with Sabina Kellner coming over from Austria to run the two day event. Sabina is a very talented twister and will share some of her latest designs for the balloon artists guild. Booking details.

We have been chatting with a large company about another big build for next weekend, now I possibly should not say but as I had not heard from them for five days I was assuming this was not going ahead…………well this morning we got the confirmation email and now have to get a few twisters together to make the project happen, so watch this space. This is something I have been wanting to build for a few month s now so that is a bonus although I do wish we had a few extra days to prepare but I think if we take an extra twister this will compensate for this, fingers crossed it will.

Had a nice time at the Leamington day of magic the other week, pictures are up on the forum. Pictures.

Thanks to all who turned up for the Basic balloon modelling day this week in Sutton, after a slow start to booking we ended up with 23 people attending and it felt like all went well and people enjoyed the day and learnt a few new designs and a few hints and tips along the way. I enjoyed the day. Sutton pictures.

So what will the random picture of the week be?
Off to look, be back in a minute.
It’s the ATAT we made form the star wars build this week.
