20th April

It’s been all go this week, we changed over the website from VAT inclusive to excluding VAT, I have always liked the slogan the price you see is the price you pay and since we started have had all the prices inclusive… BUT with all the other wholesalers being excluding this made our prices seem way way too expensive so we have finally bitten the bullet and gone excluding. The change over went pretty well and was not as stressful as we were perhaps anticipating. Then it was all hands on deck with getting product in this week… we had a delivery from Anagram who supply the last of the Qualatex, then some Gemar, Kalisan and finally Sempertex. So we are pretty stocked up at the moment, plus have some Qualatex at 40% off on the quick links in
both 6 and 12 inch. We have a few more bags left if anyone would like a bargain, 40% off Balloon Art Wholesale.

Been finishing the log cabin for me daughter, just the last section of roofing felt to finish and then I think it’s all done. Our log cabin is due for arrival around the end of May, so another 5/6 weeks fingers crossed.

Off to a Gemar event later in the month in Wolverhampton, if anyone would like to attend here are the details, Gemar Fun Day.

My balloon towers when the sun shines is very bright so we have ordered a blind for the window, will help for when we do the Zoom sessions as well, sometimes it’s hard for me to see the computer screen when the sun is shinning through. It should be here this week and hopefully easy to fit… fingers crossed.

Less than a month to go for the Care & Share day in Birmingham on the 19th May, we only have 3 people booked in at the moment so I’d better try and do a mail out and see if we can get some more interest in the day. I thought I’d do a little video about the day to see if that might get us some interest. If you’d like to book it’s just £10 to help cover costs and we are doing a beginners session first thing. We also have a day in Sutton on 2nd July, details for both days are here, Balloon Days.

That’s me then for this week, the Highland Cows we posted the other day on Facebook for some reason have took off and we have had a lot of interest, so much I think I’d better do a video on how to make them and see if we can get some more joining the Facebook tutorial page. We just ask for a small donation, either £20/30, there are over 65 tutorials to view with over half being unique and only available to view on the page. “A Balloon Club”

Off to find the random picture of the week, well not to random as I know what one we will be posting. Have a nice week…
