Just got back from a fabulous day balloon twisting in Luton, they have been a borough for 150 years. It was a brill day, gazebo, table and char provided and I just had a great laugh all day. Was exhausting as a five hour shift. We did get a 30 minute break but what a laugh the day was. I also got to Luton on the train, the venue was a two minute walk from the station and it saved driving around the M25 on a Saturday during holiday vacation time.
I have just posted the September balloon tutorial over on the club page, “A Balloon Club 2026” we do ask for a small donation for the year, it’s £18 plus VAT. We do have a special offer as well, donate for two years and get the third year free. This is for year 2023/24/25 at just £36 plus the VAT, this is the link if anyone would like to join, A Balloon Club.
We also worked with Mr David Crofts this week at Chessington World of Adventures for the new film “Paw Patrol, The Dino Movie” David is always a laugh and great fun to spend time with.
This months model of the month on Balloon Chat is the Alien Hat, this is the link if you’d like to take a look, Alien Hat Tutorial.
Balloon Chat…
We have a few behind the scene problems with Balloon Chat, to do with the Bots and Ai. They have been using up all the bandwidth and other things that I’m not too technical about. The site is on and off line at the moment but we do have people looking at it and I think the solution is to put it behind a Cloudflare barrier. It’s all double Dutch to me but hopefully will get sorted shortly. Due to this the tutorial books we are hoping to get made have taken a slightly back seat, Helen who is looking into this for me is unable to view the tutorials as the site is going off line a lot. Hopefully things will be back to normal shortly, the one thing that concerns me is not one person has contacted me to mention the problems with the forum, so that does make me wonder how many do view and use the site?
Anyway off to find the random balloon picture of the week. I went with the picture of the Alien Hat.
