Hi all, just a reminder there will not be a blog next Sunday as I’m away at the CAP EXPO exhibition.
This is on Sunday and Monday 22nd/23rd March. It is free to attend and last year was an excellent couple of days out. So well worth attending, I will have a dealer stand plus also helping in the Balloon Modelling Skillz Booth on Sunday morning plus also the jam session that is planned from 4/7pm on the Sunday night. Please come along and say hello, always happy to twist a design or two or even show some weaving at the event. More details can be found here if you’d like to attend, CAP-EXPO.
The Zoom this week was fabulous, even though I say so myself, I really enjoyed it. Plus it was a world record, we had 18 people
on the Zoom, the previous best was 12. I’m looking to do the same Zoom again later in the month incase anyone was unable
to make the original date. We made the Capybara and Axolotl. Zoom Pictures.
Apart from attending Trix, children’s magic convention later in May 19/20th we are also going to Miraiker’s Punch-Up festival
that is taking place in Birmingham on Sunday 17th May. And it is free to attend, more details are here, Miraiker’s Punch-Up.
Details for the Trix convention are here, Trix Convention.
As we are mentioning events that are up and coming, we have our mystery workshop coming up on June 23rd/24th with
Mr Patrick van de Ven. This will be in Birmingham and we have just seven spaces left if anyone would like to join us.
Patrick Workshop.
That’s me for this week, off to find the random balloon picture of the week. I have been playing with Frog designs this week,
still a works in progress. There is a thread on Balloon Chat if you’d like to take a look, Frogs.
